THE GOLDEN STATE'S STATE GOVERNMENT

The West Coast State System is a diversely governed entity with a long history of progress. Citizens in the state are represented by a collaborative legislative branch, which includes the Upper House and the House of Representatives. The governor, currently a Democrat, manages the executive branch and plays a key role implementing state policy.
